Funktion Alley

Our story began 2006 in Malmö, Sweden; a university town renowned for its vibrant art and design culture. Inspired by their surroundings the founders of Funktion Alley set out to support new up coming designers in their efforts to launch product portfolios in the UK and offer a collection of the best original design available. Since then we've expanded our range to include products by award winning designers from allover Europe. As long as it's original, functional and ethical then we'll probably love it.

In August 2007 we opened our UK design store at the Redbrick Mill complex near Leeds, the web shop followed in 2008. In addition to our retail operations we are proud to work closely with several design producers operating as launch partner retailers or agents. Brands we have helped to launch in the UK include TrioBike, De Nord, String Furniture, Northern Lighting, SMD Design and Minus Tio.

All our furniture is made in Europe to exacting standards and rated for heavy contract use.
