About the Business
The family found their ideal location in Worle High Street and set about serving the local community with household goods and services, priding themselves on personal and traditional good service. This has remained as the ethos of the company through the years and very much in evidence today. The store soon gained a reputation of selling quality flooring and furniture at very competitive prices with great reliability.
The present owners are now Bill and Bert's sons Brian and Michael Skidmore who for the past 20 years have been steering the company into the 21st century, with great brands such as G Plan Upholstery, Tempur Beds and Axminster Carpets plus many other items sourced across the world, Skidmores are still bringing the best household goods available to the community.
