Established in 1995 by Andrew Parsley, a traditionally trained cabinet maker, Back to Basics was conceived to meet the challenge from friends who couldn't find a company to make a bespoke kitchen to suit their specific requirements. They wanted a kitchen to fit the unusual space in their period house that would look good now, age with character over the years and add real value to their property. From its foundation in kitchen design and building, Back to Basics has evolved through the years to encompass all types of one-off wooden furniture ranging from fireplaces and dining tables to fitted bedrooms and home-studies.
